Department: Operations/ Programming & Guest Experience

Reports To: General Manager

Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time 

Park Golf is redefining golf and outdoor entertainment—creating vibrant, community-driven spaces designed for play, connection, and experience.
This isn’t traditional golf. It’s a new kind of energy.

Park Golf San Antonio is hiring an Activation Manager that will be the heartbeat of Park Golf, bringing the venue to life through programming, events, and guest experiences. This leadership role focuses on designing and executing leagues, events, and community-driven experiences across: 

• The Pitch & Putt course
• The Punchbowl putting green
• All Courtyard & social areas
• The Long Time wiffle ball field

Not just running events, but building a community and creating reasons to come back weekly. The mission is to create fun, repeatable experiences that drive particiation, energy, and revenue. 

 Key Responsiblities: 

Programming & Activation

· Build and manage recurring programs (leagues, themed nights, social events) 

· Maintain a 90-day programming calendar 

· Design experiences for key audiences (leagues, college nights, military, families) 

· Launch seasonal activations tied to holidays, sports, and local events 

Event Execution & Experience

· Host events with a high-energy, guest-first mindset 

· Ensure smooth execution from setup to completion 

· Coordinate with GM, bar, and operations teams 

· Create an inclusive, social environment 

Community Building

· Grow participation and build loyal followings 

· Create “micro-communities” (leagues, regulars) 

· Drive repeat visits through memorable experiences 

· Gather feedback and continuously improve 

Business Impact

· Drive traffic during key time windows 

· Track participation and program performance 

· Partner with GM on pricing and structure 

· Align programming with revenue and capacity 

Creative & Brand Leadership

· Design events that reflect the Park Golf vibe 

· Incorporate music, games, contests, and social elements 

· Partner with marketing on promotion and content 

· Set the tone for energy and hospitality 

Examples of Programs

· Weekly leagues (Men’s, Women’s, Beginner, Social) 

· College Nights / Young Professional mixers 

· Military & First Responder events 

· Family Putt Nights & Kids programming 

· Corporate outings and group events 

· Themed nights (Glow Golf, Live Music, Game Nights) 

· Seasonal series (March Madness, Summer, Holidays) 

What Success Looks Like

· Growth in leagues and recurring programs 

· High repeat attendance and guest loyalty 

· Strong guest feedback and reviews 

· Consistent programming execution 

· Increased traffic during targeted times 

· Fresh, creative experiences 

Experience & Background

· 2–5+ years in: Event programming, hospitality, sports/recreation, or community engagement 

· Proven ability to:

o Lead events and manage calendars 

o Engage guests in a live environment 

o Bonus: golf knowledge, league-building experience, or entertainment background
